WHY MASSAGE & CHIROPRACTIC Synergize
Your nervous system exists in relationship with every muscle, fascia, and connective tissue in your body. When soft tissue is chronically tight or restricted, it can pull your spine out of alignment and keep your nervous system in a defensive state. When your nervous system is dysregulated, it creates holding patterns in your muscles and fascia.
Chiropractic adjustments restore communication between your brain and body through the spine. Massage addresses the soft tissue patterns that can keep you stuck in old ways of holding tension. Together, they help your body learn new patterns and integrate change more fully. We now offer four specialized modalities to support your healing journey.
Structural Integration
Structural Integration works with your fascial system to release restrictions and holding patterns that limit your body's natural alignment. Whether from injuries, psychological trauma, or lifelong movement patterns, your fascia adapts to compensate, creating tension patterns that affect your posture and movement.
This modality addresses fascial restrictions by working with your body's connective tissue web, allowing it to reorganize and establish better balance. The work helps create proper tone in tissues and space between bones, often resulting in improved posture, easier movement, and better relationship with gravity.
Structural Integration is typically introduced as a series of 10-12 sessions, each building on the previous one and adapted to your specific patterns.
Session format: Comfortable undergarments, shorts, or loose-fitting clothes
Session length: 60-75 minutes
Cranio-Sacral Therapy
Cranio-Sacral Therapy works with the rhythm of cerebrospinal fluid moving through your cranium and spine. This rhythm creates a flexion and extension pattern throughout your body. When restrictions limit the flow or expression of this rhythm, it can contribute to various neurological and stress-related symptoms.
Using a very light touch, the practitioner senses and supports this rhythm, helping your body find new balance and reestablish natural flow. This gentle approach supports nervous system regulation and can be profoundly calming.
Effective for: Neurological holding patterns, migraines and headaches, low vagal tone, chronic stress and tension, sleep disturbances
Session format: Fully clothed on the table
Session length: 60-75 minutes
Therapeutic & Deep Tissue Massage
Therapeutic massage addresses muscular tension, increases circulation, and helps your nervous system shift out of chronic stress states. Kyle integrates deep, slow strokes with therapeutic techniques to address both relaxation and specific areas of restriction.
His approach works with the relationships between different body systems to provide effective, thorough care. Massage supports rebalancing of muscular tension and helps you reconnect with areas of your body that have been holding stress.
Session format: Traditional massage using lotion or oil, undraped and covered throughout
Session length: 60, 75, or 90 minutes
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle technique that stimulates lymph flow through your system. This approach helps move lymph from stagnant areas to where it can be reincorporated into your body's natural circulation.
Your lymphatic system is closely connected to your immune function and your vagus nerve, a primary pathway for nervous system regulation. When lymph flow improves, it supports both immune health and helps shift your nervous system out of chronic stress states.
Supportive for: Managed lymphedema, post-surgical recovery, immune system support, whiplash and injury recovery, chronic fatigue, auto-immune conditions, nervous system regulation
Session format: Very gentle, rhythmic touch
Session length: 60, 75, or 90 minutes
